2023 WAS AN UNPRECEDENTED YEAR!
With interest rates continuing to skyrocket, sellers hit the pause button which caused housing inventory to reach new historic lows. As a result, prices soared yet the number of overall housing transactions plummeted. The market felt red-hot even though, similar to last year, very few homes actually changed hands. Sellers received top prices, while buyers were frustrated that almost every house they might desire had multiple bids.
Looking ahead, our local markets will continue to remain very strong, driven by the enduring appeal of easy NYC access, top-rated schools, and vibrant communities.
